For Charles, I refoamed his four midranges and two rear woofers, upgraded selected components on his crossovers, replaced 8 terminal connectors and all internal (original appliance hook up wire) with solid silver wire.

"Hi Carl; Thank you so much for the pic. I took some pics as soon as I got home but it's much nicer to have yours with the old one as a comparison. Just got done installing them. They work fine. I know you said it'll take a while for them to "break in" but so far listening impressions are quite favorable. Imaging is spot on and I don't have to boost the midrange one click like I used to. Bass was always more than adequate but I've found it's a little much with loudness circuit engaged. And my marantz pre-amp has a very subtle and usable loudness contour. I guess what I'm saying is I'm hearing the music the way it's intended to be played without boosting this and cutting that. Thank you again Carl for doing such a wonderful job on these crossovers and also for the kind gift. I'm not very clever at posting pics but I'll make every effort to get one up on the polk site and hopefully AK as well. I'm looking forward now to the day that you can rebuild my boston a400's and infinity Q3's crossovers. I realize that about all I'm capable of is doing the one cap on the epi's.
